WWF - The Amazon Rainforest

My HUGE poster!

This week I have started my WWF pack for schools, which you can apply for as home ed. I read through the letters with mum then we looked on the website. I chose to start with the Amazon rainforest. We watched a video, talked about and listened to sounds, made a rain stick. I liked some sounds more than others.

Did you know that:

Sloths,

Leopards,

Mosquitos,

Amazon River Dolphins all live in the Amazon Rainforest.

There are videos, activities, quizzes and wordsearches. We're going to use the calendar to celebrate some of the international days.

I really want to do the live lesson in February.
